Mr. Yeshi Lhundup founded Tibet World Charitable Trust in 2013, from a small room. His vision was to establish a community that would help to solve the challenges of language, loneliness, and isolation faced by Tibetans in India. Tibet World (TW) also addresses the problems of cultural identity, unemployment, and the lack of educational opportunities.

Since its foundation, Tibet World has provided education to over 2,500 students, and over 1,300 volunteers from 44 countries have participated in classes and cultural programs. On an average day, there are 10 staff members, between 10 and 20 volunteers, and approximately 150 students active at Tibet Worlds’ location in Mcleod Ganj, Dharamsala.

TW is a role model of a compassionate organization; committed to developing inner peace, self-reliance, and building a more harmonious world.

The organization provides a platform for promoting education, raising cultural awareness, and imparting Tibetan values to the world by inspiring people to initiate compassion, harmony, and peace.
